US five-piece rock band Queens of the Stone Age have performed a concert for a select group of fans one-mile (1.6km) undergound in an abandoned east German salt mine.
The Californian rockers declared themselves to be the most underground band of all time after playing 650-metres below ground at the disused salt mine in Sonderhausen.
