BB: The winners of The Block, Corban and Alex, giving the losers 30 grand of their prize money was a pretty amazing gesture. As the two biggest losers at TV3, Jono and I are upset we're yet to get any money.
Best movie of 2014.
JP: What We Do in the Shadows, The Dark Horse, Housebound. While our telly show makes many people embarrassed to be a Kiwi, those movies made me proud.
BB: While it wasn't a movie, my favourite bit of acting was from the Warriors league team in the Wendy's commercial. It must have been hard to concentrate on league this season when they were still trying to work out how to say brioche.
Best gig.
JP: We put on a gig! Vanilla Ice Live @ The Powerstation. We lost a lot of money on that show mainly because we forgot to charge for tickets. But watch out Michael Coppel and Mr Frontier Touring Company, there's some fresh blood in the concert promoter game.
BB: We managed to convince Vanilla Ice to New Zealand for his first ever gig. We partied like it was 1999.
Most fascinating celebrity of 2014.
JP: Colin Craig. Not only does he have two first names but he walks like a boss. Everyone has been talking about Lorde's dance moves but let's focus on CC's walking style.
BB: Sonny Bill Williams as he went from league to rugby to boxing to being a dad. Although he didn't like my suggestion of Daughtery-Bill Williams for his baby girl's name.
Event/show/record/movie you're most looking forward to in 2015.
JP: We spoke to the Foo Fighters and asked them to play Ben's backyard. They said they may be interested for a small appearance fee of $1 million. So we're fundraising. I can't bloody wait!
BB: Watching Lydia Ko continue to do us proud on the golf course. The only way she could get any better is by changing her name to Lordia Ko. I hope she eventually gets her dream website Lydia.Ko.nz.
