Ben Boyce the former co-host of Pulp Sport is returning to TV3 with his own show WannaBen.

Dread-locked Boyce was out of work after wrapping up Pulp Sport, and this show tracks his quest to find a new job. Boyce would not settle for just any boring occupation - he had his sights set on being a rock star, fashion icon, millionaire or movie star.

So he decided to travel the world and ask the people who already lived the way he wanted to live for advice.

The series follows Boyce as he samples new careers and interviews celebrities like Alice Cooper, Richie Sambora, Steven Seagal, Larry Flynt, Fran Drescher, Vanilla Ice and Flavor Flav.

He also sounds out local celebrities Tammy Davis, Miriama Smith, Elemeno P, Jason Kerrison, Mike McRoberts, Antonia Prebble, Claire Chitham, Mike King, Jeremy Corbett, Paul Ego and Steve Wrigley.

WannaBen premieres on Friday, October 8 at 10pm, after 7 Days.
