One of two prostitutes who found former NBA star Lamar Odom foaming from the mouth claims she didn't supply him with drugs.
Speaking to the Daily Mail by phone Monica Monroe, says her actions actually 'saved' 35-year-old's life.
The young blonde was personally picked by the basketballer along with friend Ryder Cherry, when he arrived at Love Ranch on Saturday afternoon.
The girls claim to have been called to Odom's private suite multiple times a day, however, when they walked in on Tuesday afternoon he was unresponsive on the bed, with foam coming from his mouth.
Both working girls, have since fled the legal brothel in Crystal, Nevada.
When he returned he was said to be sniffing, but they flatly denied seeing any drugs. Doctors later found traces of cocaine in his system.
Brothel boss Dennis Hof had spoken to Ryder over txt, but she had "adamantly" denied the suggestion she had supplied any drugs.
The Daily Mail revealed that Monroe had left the state of Nevada but chose not to reveal her real name or location as she is understood to be in witness protection following the recent murder of her boyfriend.
"I'm not to blame at all because I didn't do anything wrong at all," she told the Daily Mail. "I feel like I saved his life by finding him.
"My face is all over the world wide news now but we have an issue about this because I didn't do anything wrong."
Monroe could not speak freely because she, along with the other staff members, had signed a confidentiality agreement provided by Odom.
A bill covering his four day bender totaled $79,000 - $35,000 of which was spent on girls, use of the owners personal suite and meals.
Monroe is said to have handed her check back voluntarily and, according to multiple sources, was very upset over what happened to Lamar.
Odom's ex Khloe Kardashian has reportedly been by his bedside day and night throughout the ordeal.
The reality queen sent a heartfelt message to all those who had supported her via a Twitter link.
"The past week has been so incredibly difficult," she said. "I am so thankful to family, friends and fans, who have sent nothing but prayers and well wishes to Lamar."
Her thanks extended to Sunrise Hospital staff - doctors and nurses for their "kindness and diligent work".
Doctors originally gave Odom a 50/50 chance of survival, but despite stressful first hours and days the athlete pulled through.
"Under their amazing care incredible strides have been made."
Khloe, who married Odom in a televised wedding ceremony in 2009 filed for divorce in 2013, but the documents had not been made official.
"You can never be prepared for an experience like this, but without the outpouring of love and endless prayers that Lamar has received and the strength I was given from my loved ones, it would have been difficult to endure," she said.
