'THERE SHOULD BE A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF PRIVACY'
However, Harry also said his treatment by the press over the photographs was not "acceptable".
"At the end of the day, I was in a private area and there should be a certain amount of privacy.
"The newspapers knew that I was going away to Afghanistan, yet still published the photos," he said (via etonline.com): "So the way I was treated by [the media] I don't think is acceptable."
He explained, "If there's a story and something has been written about me, I want to know what's being said, but all it does is upset me and anger me that people get away with writing the stuff they do.
"I don't believe there is any such thing as a private life anymore. I'm not going to sit here and whinge.
"Everyone knows about Twitter and the internet. Every single mobile phone has a camera on it now," Harry continued.
"You can't move an inch without someone judging you and I suppose that's just the way life goes.
"It's not helped by media, it's an unstoppable force."
The royal also shared his thoughts on sister-in-law Kate Middleton's pregnancy.
"Obviously I'm thrilled for both of them," he said.
"It's about time!" he added (via The Telegraph). "I can't wait to be an uncle."
Harry also revealed he "had a chat" with the couple about the happy news, but rubbished previous reports that he had congratulated them from Afghanistan.
"I didn't send a letter of congratulation like most of the papers said.
"How any of the papers think that they know the relationship between myself and my sister-in-law is quite remarkable.
"But they're wrong, as always.
"I spoke to my brother and her, and they're both very well and both very happy obviously."
But he wasn't so thrilled that Middleton, 31, and his brother, 30, had to announce their news earlier than expected.
He said: "I think it's very unfair that they were forced to publicise it when they were, but that's just the media for you.
"And I literally am very very happy for them, but I just only hope that she and him - but mainly Catherine - hopefully that she gets the necessary protection to allow her as a mother-to-be to enjoy the privacy that that comes with.
"I seriously hope that's going to be able to happen."
St. James's Palace revealed last week that the baby is due July.
"Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in July," the palace said in a statement.
"The Duchess's condition continues to improve since her stay in hospital last month."

Harry was previously romantically linked to model and heiress Cressida Bonas. Rumour has it the relationship went kaput shortly after snaps of Harry's nude Vegas romp emerged. According to RadarOnline, the pair resurrected their romance late last year.
Speaking about settling down, Harry said: "I don't think you can ever be urged to settle down.
"If you find the right person and everything feels right, then it takes time, especially for myself and my brother.
"You ain't ever going to find someone who's going to jump into the position that it would hold. Simple as that."
