Pregnant Canadian rocker Sarah Blackwood has accused United Airlines of discriminating against mothers after she was kicked off a flight because her son was crying.
The Walk Off The Earth singer/songwriter was on board a flight from San Francisco bound for Vancouver when her two-year-old Giorgio threw a screaming fit.
She managed to calm him down but not before his outburst prompted the pilot to turn the aircraft around.
Even though her son was fast asleep when they arrived at the terminal, Blackwood and her son were then escorted off the flight, with attendants saying her son's behaviour was considered a safety threat.
Blackwood took to Twitter.com to vent her frustration, tweeting, "Just got kicked off a @united flight because my son was crying really loud. Stayed calm but overall #Discrimination #motherhaters... Apparently my little 2 yr old crying son was a big threat to @united... MY 2 YR OLD!A threat?!?!"
