But Dancing with the Stars presenter Hayley Holt gave as good as she got in a friendly sparring match against the world's eighth-ranked heavyweight boxer.
The good-natured bout against South Auckland fighter Joseph Parker took place yesterday at Britomart's Takutai Square to celebrate the launch of new American movie Southpaw.
Parker also took on comedian Guy Williams in a blindfolded pillow fight.
Williams, who was named by TV Guide last year as the country's sexiest male television personality, stripped down to bright red shorts for the bout.
The blindfolded fight, round two of a three-round battle, left no clear winner after a first round in which the fighters had to apply make-up with boxing gloves. However, Parker emerged triumphant in a musical third round in which he showed off his skills on a keyboard.
The Australian site cited a 'heightened threat level' as the issue.
