A desperate 911 call made by a friend of rapper Mac Miller on the night he died has been released.
The tape, which is heavily redacted, features a male voice begging emergency services to "please, hurry" to the 26-year-old's Los Angeles home, TMZ reported.
Miller was found dead from an apparent overdose on Friday, with law enforcement sources claiming he had died from an overdose hours before they arrived, reports Daily Mail.
The man who called 911 is heard breaking down into tears, suggesting he knew the performer was in a dire state.
It is not known if the man was with him at the time, as he told the dispatcher he had last spoken with Miller "yesterday".
