KEY POINTS:
Lady Pippa Blake, painter and widow of Sir Peter Blake, is holding her first major solo show in London, opening at the Wyer Gallery in Battersea on June 6.
Wyer Gallery, which names Lady Pippa as "an honorary New Zealander", describes her work in this show as "a new series of abstract paintings on an apocalyptic theme".
The show runs until the end of June. Her most recent exhibition in Auckland, at the Lane Gallery in 2002, was a sell-out series of paintings based on the time she spent with Sir Peter in the Amazon shortly before his murder.
