Peter Jackson is interested in directing an episode of Dr Who, so long as its producers donate him a Dalek.
The Lord of the Rings director told Entertainment Weekly he is still serious about directing an episode of the cult science fiction TV series.
Jackson, a long-time Who fan, said he would even do the job without pay so long as he got his hands on one of the series' prized props.
"They don't even have to pay me," Jackson writes. "But I have got my eye on one of those nice new gold-colored Daleks. They must have a spare one (hint, hint)."
Daleks - a race of extraterrestrial cyborgs - are the most famous of Dr Who's adversaries.
