KEY POINTS:
British singer Pete Doherty has been told he could face prison or a community order over drug charges.
The Babyshambles frontman admitted driving illegally while in possession of crack, heroin, ketamine and cannabis.
Doherty, 28, appearing at West London Magistrates Court, offered to show the position in his stomach where he had an implant to help him kick his drug habit.
His lawyer told the court that Doherty had been on a detox programme and "presents himself certainly looking a lot better" since his appearance last month.
The judge adjourned the matter for a four weeks, saying the rocker could face a community order or prison.
