Pete Davidson isn't over Ariana Grande.
The SNL comedian, who split with the singer made news last week, is 'still in love' with her, according to a friend who spoke to Page Six.
Pete's pal revealed that the stand-up hopes they can reconcile, as he "sees a future with her," reports The Daily Mail.
The insider told the paper: "I talked to Pete a few days ago and he was joking again. He's still in love with Ariana and sees a future with her. [But] He knows [the breakup] is for the best."
According to the pal he's coping with the help of his "strong support system."
"He is staying with very close friends he considers family. Pete has a strong support system."
While neither Davidson or Grande have discussed the reasons for the split, multiple reports have suggested Ariana pulled the plug in because of Pete's 'lack of support' after her ex Mac Miller's death in September.
"Ariana dumped Pete," an insider told The Sun last week. "They'd been rowing for two weeks about Pete's lack of support after Mac's death."
