Shock art-pop artist Peaches plans to do something a little different on her upcoming New Zealand tour.
The Canadian musician will play two dates here in December: Wellington's San Fran on Friday, December 16, and Auckland's Kings Arms on Sunday, December 18.
For the King's Arms show, doors are opening at 5pm for what's billed as a "sunset show".
Peaches, 47, aka Merrill Beth Nisker, is known for explicit, tongue-in-cheek songs like Two Guys (For Every Girl) and Downtown, and her suggestive live shows.
She'll be here on the back of a headlining slot at Australia's Meredith Festival, and will play in support of 2015's critically acclaimed album Rub.
