Two freelance photographers are suing Denise Richards and Pamela Anderson.
They say Richards assaulted them when they tried to take her picture and that she and Anderson lied to authorities, the media and others about the confrontation.
The incident was at the River Rock casino resort in British Columbia, where scenes for Blonde and Blonder were being filmed. Photographers Scott Cosman and Rik Fedyck say that when Richards saw them she called them "paparazzi scum", physically assaulted them, and threw their laptops over a balcony.
The photographers, who seek unspecified damages, said the incident caused them to lose revenue when clients abandoned them and also caused them emotional stress.
