The TV spot was meant to debut on Thursday, but bosses pulled the proverbial plug - over fears the saucy ad might offend passengers with young children.
Gossip column PageSix reports that a rep for CNN Airport Network penned a letter to PETA folk explaining the reason behind the ban, saying it's "particularly sensitive because children make up part of the demographic in airports."
Having clapped eyes on the oddball ad (as featured below) ourselves, we can appreciate why the sight of a policing Pammy in minimal attire, stripping unsuspecting passengers of their dignity might be a wee bit arresting for some folk. But as for being 'too sexy'... pull the other one.

Waving away the red flag, PETA now plans to show the ad on in-flight entertainment instead.
"We're now looking to place the spot among in-flight entertainment and hope that more adventurous carriers such as Virgin take us up on it," PETA Senior Vice President Dan Mathews said in a statement.
Which is just what you need when you're sipping your mile-high champers: Pseudo-porny Pammy policing the airways with her fur-rocious antics. Put it away, love.
What do you think of the ad? Too blue to view, or lame, tongue-in-cheek titilation?

Superwaif
Kate Moss
chucked the mother of all tantrums at the GQ Awards this week after a joke from the show presenter backfired.
The supermodel stormed out of the ceremony after Irish host
James Nesbitt
(he of TV series
Cold Feet
fame) cheekily implied that he'd, well, had 'intimate relations' with her.
Off Moss huffed in a cloud of anger as she was filmed flouncing out of the backstage interview room, bellowing indignantly: "He’s so ****ing rude," adding that she would "never come to one of these ****ing award ceremonies again".
