Pamela Anderson couldn't turn down Hugh Hefner when he told her there was no one else he wanted to grace the cover of the final nude Playboy.
The 48-year-old actress - who first posed for the publication in 1989 and appeared in the publication's pages 15 times - donned the cover and stripped naked one last time for the last ever issue with full-frontal nudity.
Pamela received a personal call from Playboy owner Hugh, 89, offering her the prestigious job and when he told her she was the biggest sex symbol since the late Marilyn Monroe and he didn't want anyone else she knew she had to say "yes".
She told The New York Times newspaper: "He says to me, 'There's nobody else from Marilyn to Pamela.' How could I say no? We shot at the mansion. I got to roll down the grassy hill in the front (of the Playboy Mansion) for the last time - naked."
Pamela understands why the magazine decided on the editorial policy on having no full-frontal nudity and she admits the days where a women could make a great living from being a pin-up are over, and that's due to the onslaught of social media.
