Rock legend Ozzy Osbourne returned to his home city to accept the first place in a new Hollywood-style "Walk of Stars".
The Prince of Darkness was greeted by around 1500 fans who had braved intermittent rain for up to four hours while waiting in Birmingham's Centenary Square.
Osbourne told the crowd his star on the second city's streets meant far more to him than his spot on the pavement on the Walk of Fame in Los Angeles.
