Penelope Cruz
Penelope Cruz: Penelope, what are you wearing? She's got such an amazing constructed dress but she looks like a toilet roll holder - sad but true.
Jennifer Lopez
Jennifer Lopez: She's looking very fashionable. Wearing a sixties baby-doll shape with metalic touches. It's almost Barbarella.
Portia de Rossi
Portia de Rossi: She looks great! Ellen Degeneres (her partner) is a lucky woman.
Cameron Diaz
Cameron Diaz: Looks like she's come with a towel wrapped round her. She's commited her first fashion mistake. She's sucking. She proves that sculptural fashion is actually hard to wear
Catherine Deneuve
Catherine Deneuve: Wearing Jean Paul Gaultier. She looks beautiful. I can't believe she can wear no sleeves at her age
Former US Vice President Al Gore and his wife Tipper
Tipper Gore: An appropriately earthy brown Bill Blass dress. It doesn't look like she's increased her carbon footprint getting dressed.
Jodie Foster
Jodie Foster: She looks like a footballer in a Vera Wang dress.
Peter Sarsgaard and Maggie Gyllenhaal
Maggie Gyllenhaal: This is safe, not a triumph. It's like she was frightened of making a mistake. She looks great though, given she's just had a baby. And Maggie's New Zealand connection - she's a big fan of local babywear label Nature Baby. Her hair is great - a really simple ballerina bun coming out the back.
Jennifer Hudson
Jennifer Hudson: It looks like she got a bit cold on the way out the door so she chucked that gold cropped jacket. It's so eighties - it's Pat Benatar. If it starts raining they could take cover under her giant collar. It's a mismatch of two trends - the Grecian dress with a sculptural jacket. Her stylist has still got training wheels on. But I like her makeup - she has lovely eyes.
