But, despite the split, Bloom and Kerr have been spending a lot of time together, along with their two-year-old son Flynn.
Bloom apparently isn't ready to give up on the relationship, so has suggested they attend a special retreat this month.
"They realised there may still be something to fight for," a source told British magazine Grazia.
According to the publication, the pair will spend time at Harmony Hill in New York for three days during the Thanksgiving holidays.
The beautiful couple will stay in a private lodge and attend spiritual mentoring, regression therapy and marital coaching.
As well as spending two hours a day in sessions, they will also be expected to spend time together meditating and hiking.
To ensure they don't have any outside distractions, mobile phones are also banned.
Bloom, who married Kerr in 2010, recently said he will always love the 30-year-old because they are "a family".
While Bloom is still believed to have feelings for his model wife it seems she also isn't ready to move on from her estranged husband.
"Miranda still loves Orlando and wants to do what's best for their son," the source said.
It was recently claimed that Bloom has promised to scale back his work commitments and spend more time with the young family.
