In a statement promoting her show at Auckland's Vector Arena on Wednesday, she said she was "excited to visit New Zealand for the very first time".
Tickets to the "An Evening With Oprah" event start at $109.90, but fan packages can cost up to $2510.
For this, "The O VIP Photo + Soundcheck Experience", fans will get an experience that includes a 15-minute Q&A session with Oprah, access to her soundcheck, photos, VIP access, premium seating, a lanyard and laminate, and a cocktail party.
