One Direction are moving away from their trademark pop with their upcoming album, says Liam Payne, who's compared their new music to British rockers OASIS.
The pop stars are currently working on their fifth record, which will be their first release as a four-piece following the departure of Zayn Malik last month.
Payne has now given fans an update on the album's progress, and compared their new tracks to the hits of defunct rock group Oasis.

"The album's coming together really well actually. The boys we've been writing with have come up with some great, great songs that are kind of like a bit Oasis-y almost which is ace," he tells Britain's Capital FM radio station.
