One Direction star's first child born

Briana Jungwirth has reportedly given birth to a baby boy.

The Los Angeles-based stylist - who is having One Direction star Louis Tomlinson's first child - was yesterday admitted to hospital, with her mother and grandmother spreading the news to their family and friends, The Sun newspaper reported.

According to the Mirror, a message believed to have been posted by Briana's grandmother, read: "Louis just let your heart dance. You now have another you. A gift that will want to be just like you. Be free and just live."

The 24-year-old One Direction singer said he can't wait to be a hands on dad.

A source said: "Louis and Briana have spent a lot of time together and are really close. Louis really cares about Briana and thinks she will be a great mum. Their friendship has got even stronger though this.

"Louis is being very protective of her and making sure she takes it easy ... Louis is really excited about becoming a dad."

Simon Cowell, who founded One Direction when he decided to put the Night Changes hitmakers - Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Louis and former bandmate Zayn Malik - together on the UK series of The X Factor, has also been offering parenting advice to the singer.

The 56-year-old music mogul shared previously: "I just said enjoy it. If I had been his age and someone had said you're going to have a baby, I'm not sure how I would have coped with it but he did call me and I said when you've embraced it you'll be amazed how much you are going to love it and it will change your life for the better. And that's it."
