Oksana plans to make Gibson squirm

Mel Gibson's estranged lover Oksana Grigorieva will reportedly make him "squirm" when they meet today.

The pair are locked in an increasingly bitter custody battle over their 12-month-old daughter, Lucia, and will both appear at the actor's deposition hearing where lawyers will question him about the events which led to their split in April this year.

A source told gossip website RadarOnline.com: "As of late Sunday night, Oksana had resolved to sit alongside her lawyers at the deposition and across the table from Mel.

"For the first time, she will see Mel face-to-face, and she knows this is an important event and feels that her presence could make Mel squirm."

Since they parted, Oksana has claimed the Lethal Weapon star physically and verbally abused her and tapes have been leaked in which Mel can apparantly be heard threatening to kill Oksana with a "bat to side of her head" and that he would bury her in his "rose garden."

Oksana's legal team want to play these tapes in court to show that Mel has anger issues, but it is not clear if they will be allowed as evidence, as the judge in the case to establish custody of Lucia has stipulated lawyers must steer clear of any domestic violence issues.

Mel, 54, is also thought to be planning to cite the US constitution's Fifth Amendment - meaning he doesn't have to answer questions which could implicate him in any other currently open investigations - if he is questioned about rumours he hit Oksana and knocked out two of her front teeth, which is currently being looked into by authorities.

A source added: "Mel will decline to discuss the alleged assault on Oksana, citing his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination given the criminal investigation is still active."
