Oasis kicked the reunion rumour mill back into gear last night after posting a teaser video appeared on the band's Facebook page' target='_blank'>on Facebook and Instagram simply stating a date, '26 Feb', and a time, '9am'.
However, the announcement turned out to be a remastered version of their seminal album Definitely Maybe.
A three-disc special edition of the record, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, will be released on May 19 alongside the usual CD and LP versions, featuring rare recordings and demos.
Among the bonus content comes previously unheard acoustic versions of tracks Live Forever and Shakemaker, an early demo of Half The World Away recorded in a Tokyo hotel room and a demo of rarity Strange Thing.
The post was initially met with cries of "Please let this be a reunion!" from fans, though the one saying "If it's just a 'remastered album' we riot" turned out to be closer to the truth.
