"I'd heard of No Aloha long before I actually heard them, and ate my tardiness when I finally got around to listening to their debut EP via several tasteful Facebook friends' shares over six months after it was released on Bandcamp," says Street Chant's Emily Littler.
"Immediately I became obsessed with it, particularly the track 2nd BF (the most listened to song on my iTunes, actually), although the rest of the EP follows suit with its amazingness.
"By this point the Cantabrians had relocated to Wellington and their bass player had moved to Auckland to join Street Chant's label mates Ghost Wave. Thankfully No Aloha now has Blair on bass duties, who along with Chris is also in The Eversons, and they have some new tracks coming out next month.
"I think their EP has been criminally overlooked - each song is an absolute gem. The drums and the bass work so well together, and the harmonies are kind of unreal.
