The New Zealand-made series 800 Words is up for multiple trophies at Australia's top television awards.
The show, starring Erik Thomson, created by James Griffin and Maxine Fleming, co-produced by Auckland's South Pacific Pictures is up for three Logie Awards, having already won one - actress Melina Vidler took away the most outstanding newcomer at yesterday's nomination announcement.
In the main awards to be announced on May 8, Thomson is up for best actor, Benson Jack Anthony is nominated for best new talent and the show figures in the best drama category.
Vilder and Anthony play Thomson's teenage children in the series, a ratings hit for Channel Seven across the Tasman, about a Sydney columnist shifting his family to a small coastal New Zealand town after the death of his wife.
A second series of 800 Words is in production.
