He embarked on his Saturday night TV career with The Late Late Breakfast Show on BBC in the 80s and has since gone on to host Telly Addicts, Noel's House Party and Channel 4's Deal Or No Deal
The paper claims Noel has already chosen New Zealand as his new home, as he plans to relocate on his retirement from TV.
A friend of the star revealed: "Whether he wins or loses, Noel will celebrate the milestone birthday on a beach in New Zealand with his wife Liz Davies."
They added that he believes it is a "victory for the cosmic ordering philosophy", as his plans to head to New Zealand wouldn't have been possible without heading out to Australia with ITV.
Cosmic ordering is a form of positive thinking that believes a person's wishes can become a reality if they write them down and wait for the planet to make them happen.
Edmonds is a firm believer and advocate of the concept.
He has been rumoured to be a late arrival to I'm A Celebrity and the 11th star to sign up to the show.
ITV is yet to confirm his addition, but reports claim the Noel's House Party host has secured a huge money deal with the network, which will see him become the highest ever paid contestant in I'm A Celebrity's history.
It was reported that Harry Redknapp gained the same title, after bagging himself a pay-cheque of £500,000. However, Noel is believed to surpass him, after closing a deal for £600k for his late addition.
Amir Khan was previously the highest-paid celeb to star on I'm A Celeb, after being paid £400k for his appearance in the jungle last year in 2017.
A spokesperson for ITV declined to comment when contacted by MailOnline.
If Edmonds does jet out to Australia, he could be in for an awkward reunion with I'm A Celeb's hosts Declan Donnelly and Holly Willoughby, after previously lashing out at both presenting stars.
The TV star branded Willoughby "aggressive and disrespectful" after clashing with her on This Morning in 2016, and has accused Declan Donnelly and Ant McPartlin of 'stealing his ideas' for their successful series Saturday Night Takeaway.
Two years ago, Edmonds had appeared on ITV's This Morning to discuss his controversial views on cancer.
Edmonds was previously diagnosed with prostate cancer, but came under for for claiming he had cured his diagnosis with a £2,315 yoga mat and that cancer is caused by "negative energy".
Tensions boiled over as Holly and Phillip Schofield quizzed Edmonds on his comments.
Holly asked whether the star would ask a child who was suffering from cancer whether their illness had been caused by 'negative energy', while Phil branded a tweet Noel had sent to a cancer sufferer asking whether their 'ill-health was a result of their negative attitude' as 'insensitive'.
He accused Willoughby and Schofield of "stitching him up" and claimed he had never said "negative thinking can cause cancer", while accusing This Morning of promoting his cause incorrectly.
Following his appearance on This Morning, Edmonds later branded the pair 'aggressive, disrespectful and dishonest' as he reflected on the interview on his website 'Noel.World'.
Edmonds has also hit out at I'm A Celebrity's regular hosts Ant and Dec.
Edmonds was at the height of Saturday night TV in the 90s, thanks to his hit Noel's House Party, and he claims Ant and Dec stole ideas from his show to create their reality series Saturday Night Takeaway.
He has regularly voiced his thoughts on Ant and Dec mimicking his show, telling Celebrity Radio in 2015: "They plundered the House Party archives and created Takeaway."
Edmonds told The Independent: "They've been very honest about the derivation of their show. Their executive producer told me that the first thing they did when they were setting up the show was to get out the tapes of Noel's House Party."
Edmonds had actually appeared on Saturday Night Takeaway during its series finale this year and appeared to take aim at the presenting duo during his time on the show.
He joked: "I've been in this business 50 years. On Saturday nights I used to get 17 million viewers, and I've never been on the honours list.
"And then one day I come home and I turn the telly on and see you two muppets getting OBEs – simply because you copied Noel's House Party."
Pointing out the similarities between the two Saturday night shows, Edmonds said: 'You do Grab the Ads, I do Grab a Grand. You do Undercover, I had the Gotchas. And don't you remember NTV?'
It's claimed Edmonds has only agreed to sign up for I'm A Celebrity to publicly reveal the difficult time he has endured over the last few years, which saw him attempt to commit suicide.
He is preparing to launch a claim of up to £300 million against Lloyds Banking Group, the owner of HBOS, in London's High Court.
The former Deal Or No Deal presenter is among dozens of small business owners demanding compensation for his treatment at the hands of HBOS bankers.
Edmonds claims that an HBOS manager, Mark Dobson, who was jailed for four-and-a-half years, destroyed his entertainment business Unique Group.
When rumours of Edmonds' addition first surfaced , insiders claimed: "Bosses think [Noel will] have loads of stories to tell and will be a great talker around the campfire.
"They've been desperately trying to keep him under wraps as he's the cherry on the top of the series for them."
Heading into the jungle this series is Redknapp, Inbetweeners star Emily Atack, DIY:SOS presenter Nick Knowles, EastEnders Rita Simons, The Chase star Anne Hegerty, Corrie's Sair Khan and The Vamps' James McVey.
John Barrowman has also made the star-studded list as a surprise addition, along with Hollyoaks actor Malique Thompson-Dwyer and former X Factor winner Fleur East.
