The Boss is covering her song but Lorde still has the time to hang out with her New Zealand friends.

The 17-year-old has posted a picture to Instagram of her and friends, on the same weekend that Bruce Springsteen performed her song

Springsteen, in Auckland for two shows, changed some of her lyrics, singing, "Long ago I was the next big thing/Now I'm in love with being king".

Lorde's Instagram account has recently featured pictures of her with a more high-profile friend - fellow star Taylor Swift.
