Viewers of recent superhero blockbuster Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice fall into one of two camps: those who thought it was a turgid, bloated mess, and those who loved the crap out of it.
But most can agree on one thing: At 151 minutes, it was way too long.
That's not stopping director Zach Snyder from adding an extra 30 minutes to the blu ray extended edition due out later this month.
That's right, an extra 30 minutes.
Collider reported the director's cut of the film included with the upcoming blu ray edition ran to 182 minutes and included entire characters that were cut from the theatrical version of the film.
He also admitted the film's end credits ran to almost 10 minutes.
Batman v Superman was a middling commercial success but a massive critical flop, earning just a 27 per cent approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
That led viewers to ask why an extended edition of the film was necessary - especially when Snyder himself has admitted: "I didn't want to make a three-hour movie."
Some even asked Snyder to make the film shorter - not longer.
#BatmanvSuperman Ultimate cut, now padded with even more pointless scenes with even more random side characters & Lois Lane. No thank you.
