The new release, a follow-up to 2001's hit Rock Steady, is expected to drop on September 25.
The group - made up of Gwen Stefani, Tony Kanal, Adrian Young and Tom Dumont - is said to have been working on the new project for the past four years.
According to a 2008 post from Stefani, who was pregnant with Zuma, her second son with Gavin Rossdale at the time, she was having trouble focusing on songwriting, so the band took a break and went on tour instead.

In a feature for Rolling Stone magazine last year, the quartet previewed a handful of tracks they had recorded.
The mag gave particular mention to a track called Settle Down, which it described as "a party-ready reggae blast featuring Stefani's toasting skills," and One More Summer, which "updates the band's ska-pop sound with pounding dance beats, arena-size guitars and a beyond-catchy chorus".
No word on whether these tracks will make the final cut.
Their comeback single is rumoured to be titled Addicted to Love.
In support of the new release, Stefani and co have uploaded the first webisode, chronicling their time working on the album.
During the clip, Stefani is seen laying down vocals for new track Push & Shove.
