Melissa McCarthy says she "wouldn't want to" appear in a Bridesmaids sequel without Kristen Wiig.
Wiig, who starred in last year's hugely successful comedy, which she co-wrote with Annie Mumolo, has said that a follow-up isn't on the cards, but Universal studios are apparently willing to go ahead without her.
However, McCarthy - who won a number of critics awards for her performance as tomboy Megan in the hit movie - admitted her doubts about a potential sequel without Wiig, telling E! News: "I think it's a terrible idea."
However, she said she would follow co-stars Maya Rudolph, Rose Byrne, Wendi McLendon-Covey and Ellie Kemper when making a decision about another film.
