With the trailer functioning as a proof-of-concept tease, and without a full announcement from Nintendo, many questions still circle the Switch, its capabilities, and its game lineup.
But Wall Street Journal reporter Takashi Mochizuki claims that Nintendo does not intend to reveal the hardware's specs or launch titles until 2017.
"At a later date, before the March launch, we'll be talking about things like exact launch date, and of course, the games," said the company in its statement to Eurogamer.
The Nintendo Switch is currently set for a March 2017 launch.
