Nine new reasons to get pumped for Game of Thrones

Nine new photos from the upcoming Game of Thrones season premiere have been released, as if there wasn't enough excitement already.

The images were posted by HBO this morning.

They show different scenes from the first episode, The Red Woman, including Daenerys talking with Khal Moro - played by series newcomer, New Zealand actor Joe Naufahu - and looking scared.

There are two images of Sansa and Theon, one of them crossing a river and another of them hiding under a tree.

Jamie is on a Dornish ship returning to King's Landing in another photo, and there is also one of Cersei looking sad, or worried.

The other new photos show Ramsay mourning Myranda, a Dothraki mob on the move, Arya with cloudy white eyes, and Ellaria Sand talking to Prince Doran in Dorne.

This comes as a seventh season of Games of Thrones was officially confirmed.

The season premiere screens on April 25.
