Dinah Lee - the Kiwi-born singer who rose to pop stardom in Australia as "Queen of the Mods" - is to be a special guest at tonight's Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards.
Lee will be presenting the New Zealand Herald Legacy Award to her 60s contemporaries, Ray Columbus and the Invaders at the close of tonight's show.
Other guest presenters tonight in the show hosted by Dai Henwood include Aussie rock trio The Living End, Lucy Lawless, Warriors Jerome Ropati, Jesse Royal, and Manu Vatuvei.
The action on the red carpet at Vector Arena starts from 6pm - but the first 200 fans to turn up at 4pm get access to the moshpit inside. On TV, C4 has live coverage from 4pm, covering arrivals from 6pm to 7pm, the broadcasting the show itself from 8.30pm. There are free buses from Victoria St (opposite SkyCity) to the arena from 4 to 6pm.
