Disco is totally not dead.
Nicole Richie rang in her 35th birthday in retro style alongside a swag of celebrity pals over the weekend.
The former Simple Life star celebrated with a '70s disco-themed, roller-rink party at the Standard hotel in West Hollywood and invited just a few of her Hollywood friends.

As well as her husband Joel Madden and dad Lionel Richie, other celebs included on the guest list were Kate Hudson, Cameron Diaz, Jessica Alba and Ellen Pompeo.
Of course, they all documented the fun on Instagram.
Fur, gold and big hair was the style for most on the night.
But while Kate Hudson was seen channelling her Almost Famous character Penny Lane, Cameron Diaz didn't seem to be as into the retro theme.
The star opted for a more understated look in all black.
Earlier, Joel Madden paid tribute to his wife with a snap on Instagram.
"Best mum, best friend, best wife. Happy birthday Nicole.
"You keep us all laughing," he captioned the photo.
