Nicolas Cage has revealed which Lord Of The Rings role he turned down and why.
The Oscar-winning actor, 54, dropped the fun fact during an interview with news.com.au about his new movie, Mandy, which is getting rave reviews.
"You know, I was going to almost be in the Lord Of The Rings trilogy but I didn't do it," he said during the Q+A.
Which role was he going to play, you ask?
"It was Aragorn, it was Viggo's (Mortensen) part. But I didn't want to go to New Zealand for three years. I was still busy raising my first son so I couldn't really go. I was in a divorce situation."
