His condition also remains unclear and representatives have not returned requests for comment to any media outlet.
Joel was allegedly unaware that Perry had been taken to the hospital until after his show was over.
However, this is not the first time the famed rocker has passed out during a concert.
In July 2016, Perry was performing on stage with the Hollywood Vampires in Brooklyn when he collapsed mid-song.
Although there were rumors that he had gone into cardiac arrest, sources told Blabbermouth that a combination of "dehydration and exhaustion" was at fault.
Perry has admitted that he's pushed himself too hard while performing, the DailyMail reports.
"I've certainly had a couple other instances where I've pushed myself over the edge, but never in such a public way, you know?' he told The Boston Globe in April of this year.
"Certainly we're seeing more and more people pass from one thing or another, whether it's age or abuse. And I don't want to be on that list.
"So I learned a lot. But also, frankly, I rediscovered the guitar. You know, a lot of things that I took for granted and left behind in this long and varied career, I kind of went back to again."
Despite his age, Perry shows no signs of slowing down. In October, he announced a headlining tour that begins November 30th in Sioux City, Iowa, and ends in Agoura Hills, California, on December 16th.
Then, in April 2019, he will be part of Aerosmith's Las Vegas residency called Deuces are Wild, a reference to their 1994 single, will open at the MGM Grand Hotel.
The band is expected to play 18 shows in April, June and July.
