New Zealand's hit TV series Step Dave has been picked up overseas by major US network NBC.
The Kiwi comedy series is being developed by a range of production companies including Hazy Mills, which is co-run by Will and Grace star Sean Hayes.
The US show will be based on our Step Dave format and written and produced by Emily Cutler who worked on shows like The Odd Couple and Community.
Step Dave follows the life of 24-year-old bartender Dave and 35-year-old Cara and her three kids, as they all try to navigate their relationship and all the baggage that entails.
The Kiwi version starred Sia Trokenheim and Jono Kenyon and wrapped up in 2015 after a two-season run, despite fans' calls for a third season.
