The New Zealand Consulate from Flight of the Conchords is set to be demolished, and the Conchords are not taking the news well.
According to New York news site Bowery Boogie, the building at 232 East Broadway where Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement regularly went for meetings with Murray (Rhys Darby), is set to make way for a new building project.

The site reports that the demolition is part of the Ascend Group's purchase of multiple buildings on East Broadway for $47.5 million, where it plans to construct apartment buildings.
Responding to the news on Twitter, Darby simply wrote: "NOOOOOOOO!!!", while Clement pointed out that it was the last chance for fans to nab a selfie at the show location.
