New Zealand actor Joe Naufahu is the latest Kiwi to be cast in hit fantasy series Game of Thrones.
Naufahu, who is best known for his roles on Go Girls and Spartacus: Vengeance, will join the Emmy Award-winning show for its sixth season.
Deadline Hollywood reported the news, saying Naufahu has been cast in a recurring role. Further details are still underwraps.
However, his physique suggests he could play a part in the upcoming Dothraki plotline. The fifth season ended with Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) being captured by a khalasar.
Naufahu is the second New Zealander to join the show after Oscar nominee Keisha Castle-Hughes appeared in several episodes last season as Obara Sand. She is also expected to return next season.
