If you haven't heard of Theia, she's an up-and-coming Kiwi singer who, in a matter of weeks, has earned a huge following and comparisons to Lorde and Broods.
The Christchurch singer whose real name is Em-Haley Walker - and who was formerly known as PLUM - released her single Roam in August and in little more than two months it racked up more than 2 million Spotify streams and is fast on its way to 3 million.
She's also been announced on the Electric Coastline tour and will be hitting the road this summer with fellow up-and-comer Kings, and Kiwi favourites Broods.
"It's amazing - my song just got released and I'm now seeing my face on posters," Theia says excitedly. "It's surreal but it's so rewarding. That's what you want. And while people probably think it's such a short period of time, obviously before that and even now, there's so much work that goes into it so it's almost a relief but such an adrenaline rush." Not surprising, considering she's been planning her world domination since she was 10 - that's when she knew she wanted to follow in the footsteps of her idols.
