Marvel's third Thor film has reportedly found a new scriptwriter, Stephany Folsom, who will join Kiwi director Taika Waititi.
Folsom and Waititi will work on the series' next chapter which will feature Thor, played by Australian actor Chris Hemsworth, teaming up with the Hulk, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The American writer's previous works include upcoming Disney film The Princess of North Sudan.
Folsom is one of the few female writers to work with Marvel joining Guardians of the Galaxy writer Nicole Perlman and Meg LeFauve, who is currently working on the upcoming Captain Marvel film.
Thor: Ragnarok will be shot in Queensland next year.
