A new opening date has been announced for Cirque du Soleil's newest Big Top show Kooza.
The show was initially due to open in Auckland on Friday, February 8 but due to the delayed departure of the set and staging from Korea, the show will now premiere Friday, February 15.
The delay in opening won't compromise the Auckland season with an additional week added on.
Five years since Cirque du Soleil dazzled Kiwis with Totem, Kooza is described as a breath-taking homage to the traditions of circus.
With an international cast of 50 acrobats, musicians, singers and actors, Kooza follows The Innocent as he journeys through a colourful world of eccentric characters and white-knuckle thrills.
