New Zealand's latest MasterChef winner last night started planning for a future in food, with a cookbook and new restaurant in her sights.
Chelsea Winter, 28, an Auckland marketing executive, edged out mother-of-three Ana Schwarz.
Ms Winter last night said she plans to put her new skills to good use.
"Step one is obviously the cookbook. Someday in future I would like to own my own establishment and take the first step in my new life."
Runner-up Mrs Schwarz told the Herald she was shocked: "I thought I was going to win. I actually couldn't think straight for a couple of minutes."
