New Game of Thrones trailer revealed

It's short, dark, and gives a whole new meaning to the word Stark: HBO has released its first teaser trailer for the fifth season of Game of Thrones.

The brief and cryptic 10-second clip doesn't show all that much, but it does explore Arya Stark's much-anticipated fate.

It's grim, and mysterious.

And stark.

Arya is shown stabbing and dashing through the shadows alone, the ominous words of Melisandre echoing in the background with the warning, "I see a darkness in you".

Exactly what happens to the youngest daughter of the decapitated Eddard Stark is unknown.

In one snippet she holds in her hand the mysterious token given to her by Braavosi Jaqen H'ghar.

There's also a big heavy door.

The teaser, titled Receive the Power of the Sight, directs viewers to the show's newly launched website, www.ThreeEyedRaven.com.

Season five of the TV series Game of Thrones will release in 2015.
