The hunt is over for a new host for Watties' long-running cooking advertorial Food in a Minute.
Presenter Allyson Gofton announced in September she was hanging up her apron to spend more time with her family. After a nationwide competition, mother of two Lana Garland was chosen to present the snippet which screens daily before the 6pm news on TV One.
Garland has worked as a waitress, barista, cook and manager.
"I feel like I have been training for it for years. My first job was cooking in and later running a busy kitchen and over the last 15 years I have worked in restaurants while training and working in film and television. The best preparation, though, probably comes from having to cook great food on a budget for my family."
Gofton, who has hosted the programme for the past 13 years, will present her final show in late January.
