The first new song from Flight of the Conchords in three years has become an internet sensation.
Feel Inside (And Stuff Like That) was written and recorded by Kiwi comedy duo Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement for last week's TV3 charity special Red Nose Day: Comedy for Cure Kids.
The song hit No. 1 on iTunes after the show, and was reported by many major news sites around the world. One version of the song on YouTube has had more than 300,000 hits. It has more than 7400 'likes' and just over 100 'dislikes'.
Fan comments included, "So much better than We Are The World" and, "It was awesome to see Jemaine Clement crack up. I've never even seen him smile on the show".
The song's lyrics came from primary school children at Clyde Quay School in Wellington and Grey Lynn School in Auckland, who were interviewed by McKenzie and Clement about their feelings on fundraising for the cause.
