Fans of the much-loved TV series Gilmore Girls will be jumping for joy that Netflix is planning a revival of the show with four 90-minute movies.
The digital channel is developing the mini-movies with the series' original creators Amy Sherman-Palladino and executive producer Daniel Palladino, reports TV Line.
"Although negotiations with the cast are only now beginning, I'm told all of the major players most notably Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Kelly Bishop and Scott Patterson are expected back for the continuation," reporter Michael Ausiello writes.
Warner Bros and Netflix have declined to comment.
Gilmore Girls is the fast-talking romantic comedy starring Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel as Lorelei and Rory Gilmore that ran for seven seasons between 2000 and 2007.
