With four nominations, Nesian Mystik, are favourites to pick up a few Pacific Music Awards on Saturday night at Telstra Pacific Events Centre.
The group, who last year announced they would be calling it a day on their 10-year chart-topping career, are up for best group, best Pacific urban artist, best song for Sun Goes Down, and best album for their fourth record 99 A.D.
Close behind with three nominations are hip-hop-soul singer Ladi6, who released her second solo album The Liberation of ... last year, and Christchurch group Pacific Underground, who will battle it out with Nesian Mystik and The Hypnotics in the best group category.
Ladi6 will be up against pop-R&B diva Erakah and Wellington music veteran Bella Kalolo for the best Pacific female artist.
