A hip-hop innovator and one of reggae's foremost figures are teaming up and heading to New Zealand in February.
Nas and Damian Marley tour in support of the pair's collaborative album Distant Relatives and play Wellington's TSB Arena on February 16 and Auckland's Logan Campbell Centre the night after.
They will be performing songs from the album as well as doing separate solo sets of their own material.
With the release of his classic 1994 debut, Illmatic, Nas has been considered one of the best rappers around, and while Marley, who is the youngest son of Bob, may not be as prolific as his father, his 2005 album Welcome To Jamrock was a pioneering fusion of hip-hop and reggae.
